At the exhibition, Meat Industry 2011, The Russian subsidiary of BHJ Protein Foods, OOO SCANPRO, most recently won the first prize in the Russian meat product competition, called “Sausages are tastier with us”.
They presented a sausage with the high functional ingredient SCANPRO T 95, which is suitable for a wide range of injected, reformed, and as in the case with sausages, emulsified products. The OOO SCANPRO team was awarded the first prize, for which they received a cup and a Grand-prix diploma for the high quality of SCANPRO T 95 and the technological elaborations of its application in the meat industry.
The SCANPRO T 95 ingredient is neutral in taste and colour, ensuring no effects on the flavour and colour of the end product. As a functional ingredient, this leaves the sensory experience to be based on the natural meat taste that consumers expect and appreciate. SCANPRO T 95 improves the texture of the overall product – e.g. the snap of the sausages.
